This program provides free training for those who would like to become champions for Danville and Pittsylvania County! Experience first-hand all there is to do in your backyard! Learn about exciting attractions, dining and shopping options, accommodations, and more to help create memorable experiences for SoSi visitors!

Each session can accommodate 50 individuals and only 2 participants per the same businsess.

Dress code is casual. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes as there may be some walking during the guided tour.

Each session will include an interactive workshop, featuring itineraries built on the hub-and-spoke model, and a guided bus tour of the Danville area, led by Joyce Wilburn.

To accommodate each individual, we are asking that you only sign up for one session at this time.

Each workshop will be from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive:
- I Am Tourism Ambassador certificate
- Pineapple lapel pin, the official symbol of hospitality
- Passes to various attractions throughout the region to experience first-hand the many assets in SoSi
