Visit SoSi, Danville and Pittsylvania County’s regional tourism program, will host a free public screening of Hamilton at The Pantheon, Caesars Virginia on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6pm. Event partners include the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History and the Danville Historical Society.

The event is part of local efforts recognizing VA250, the statewide commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary. The initiative highlights the people, places, and events that shaped the nation’s history while encouraging communities across Virginia to participate in the celebration.

Several VA250-related programs have already taken place throughout the region, including an all-day 4th of July Festival in Pittsylvania County, a visit from the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience, and Pittsylvania County’s first Road to Revolution historical marker unveiling. The screening is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Family-friendly snacks and popcorn will be available for purchase.

The Pantheon is located at 1100 West Main Street, Danville, Virginia. Doors will open at 5:30pm; show starts at 6pm. This movie is rated PG-13, recommending it for ages 11 and up.
