DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — A new brewery and pub is bringing house-brewed beers and a welcoming atmosphere to Danville.
Mountain Valley Public House officially opened in late September, offering customers a place to enjoy locally brewed beverages, games and occasional live music.
The pub features a fireplace and outdoor seating, creating a space for customers to gather and relax.
Owner John Andorfer said his goal is to create a welcoming environment for everyone while sharing his passion for beer through a variety of brews.
“We have a diverse menu. We have some introductory beers like a pilsner and a pub ale. And we have some more hobby offerings for those who have acquired a taste in that direction,” Andorfer said.
The business is currently operated by Andorfer and his partner, Karl Herzberg, who handle the work in the pub and brewery.
As the business grows, the pair hopes to expand their team by hiring additional staff to help behind the bar and in the brewhouse.
